From Marketing Intern to Junior SEO Specialist

Hello, I’m Mariam Yousry. I live in Hurghada. I was researching different career paths, and after exploring a lot of options, I decided to build a career in marketing. Around 8 months ago, I was looking for marketing internships and that’s where I came across Mango Studio, a marketing agency in Hurghada.

I heard about them, and how they were building their team and I liked the idea of working there. So I applied for an internship and got accepted. This marked the outset of my career in marketing.

The Beginning of My Journey as An Intern in Marketing

During my time as an intern, I started exploring marketing in depth, and learning about the different areas of marketing. I delved into content marketing, community management, search engine optimization, and more.

I gradually realized how much I enjoyed SEO. I became more immersed in it, gaining a deeper understanding of it and getting to test different strategies. I learned about the various opportunities that SEO could open up for me. And I realized that becoming an SEO Specialist was the career path I wanted to pursue.

One of the things that I’m truly enjoying about this experience is the team that I get to work with and learn from every day. Working alongside people with different skills has helped me in improving continuously.

My First Job in Marketing

After about 3 months of being an intern, I was so excited to finally start a job for the first time in my life. I got hired as a Junior SEO Specialist at Mango Studio agency. I’m still at the start of my career, learning more about the industry as I go, but I truly believe that this is the right environment for me to build my skills, gain experience and grow both as an individual and as an SEO Specialist.
